The entertainment industry in Nigeria has witnessed quite a great

On-air-Personality who has become a force to reckon with on the streets, owing
to his indebt understanding of every part of the regular man’s daily struggles.
He helps them go through their already stressful day with fun filled contents
that entertain and as well educate. Who would have expected to get that much
entertainment from a consistent radio personality?
His voice becomes an instant love anytime he is heard, especially when
he is on air as Dr. Konkto on Fridays by 5:00PM. The street credibility and
acceptance gotten by Dr. Kondokto gave FinestBoyOnRadio the most love on radio.
His lovers would keep calling in to commend his ability to help them smile and
find faith in their daily struggle for a living. His rich contents makes him
very different from every other OAP, bringing the force of skit making,
characterization and radio broadcasting all together confirms him being the
FinestBoyOnRadio.
Legally named Akinyemi Johnson, a native of Ondo State who was born and
schooled in Lagos all through his early years. FinestBoyOnRadio moved to Ekiti
State in 2013 after trying his entry into the entertainment industry through
acting and singing. After a while in Ekiti State, working as a freelance
graphic designer, Content Writer and Screen Play Writer, he returned to Lagos
to anchor an evening belt entertainment programme on Unilag 103.1FM in
University of Lagos. He then returned to Ekiti State to own his own programme
on Voice 89.9FM, Ado-Ekiti.
His craft and consistency caught the attention of DuxFM in Ogun State
and he was promptly brought in as an On-Air-Personality. The level of
acceptance and collaborations has been worth notice within his four month of
entertaining his listeners who span between Ogun, Lagos and Oyo states. He has
practically become the people’s assembly point anytime he is live on radio. He
platform has been able to make people smile with the privileged listeners
giving back to the streets where succour is needed.
‘FinestBoyOnRadio was a named I coined accidentally when I was going on
air with UniLag FM. I was a last minute replacement for someone and I just knew
I did not want my name open to all because of my family’s privacy’ he explained
about getting his name. He wait further to show interest in staging a real live
Dr. Kondokto experience as well as become a strong brand influence that can
show the street that there are potentials in the streets too.
FinestBoyOnRadio is a broadcast producer, Sound designer, graphic
designer, content creator, script writer as well as an On-Air-Personality. When
asked he unwinds, he says his time to unwind is still ahead and he is passion
driven to keep striving to make the street proud before unwinding.
