All roads would lead to National Power Training Institute Of Nigeria on Sunday 22nd, 2021, at Adelabu Street, Surulere, Lagos as fast rising Ibarapa born Actress, Funmilade Oladepo would premiere her maiden movie, Orisa Gbemu , the deity of Vengeance.
The star studded movie was shot at different locations in Lagos and Ogun State, South-Western part of Nigeria with a story line that depicts norms and culturally belief of some sections amongst the Yorubas.
Ibn her words, Funmilade, that is well known as Iyawo Elenu Razor said, “The need for the birth of the movie became necessary having gotten a story of a young woman whose experience needed to be shared with others in the society. We learn from other people’s experiences and Orisa Gbemu is a movie tailored towards checking some taboos that endanger the lives of people instead of being beneficial to them. We aren’t out to castigate or malign our cultural belief rather we are of the quest to project and put our acts as people from the most culturally-endowed race in good perspectives.”
A foremost custodian of culture, Iba Gani Adams, The Aare Onakakanfo of Yoruba land and other dignitaries that are stakeholders would be guest at the movie premiere.
Madam Saje, Fausat Balogun, Lekan Oropo, Alesh Onilegbale, Dele Fagboyo, Lekan Olatunji, Kunle Dasilva and other top stars would grace the occasion.
