SHORT CITATION OF THE 3RD CHIEF IMAM OF ORILE IGANMU CENTRAL MOSQUE.

Imam Hamod-Tijani Babatunde Shittu Faari was born into the family of Hamod-Tijani Olamiguna Shittu,Oga Ilu of Ojo and Adewusi family of Ita Alaagba and Iganmu,Ogabi family of Eletu Iwashe,Isale-Eko and Ogundairo Bashorun Erogun family of Amuwo Odofin,all of Lagos State. He was born on the 7th of January,1974.He started his Primary Education at Coker Primary School,Coker Village,Orile Iganmu from 1980-1986 (First School Leaving Certificate). He proceeded to Amuwo Odofin High School,Mile 2 from 1986-1992 for his Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE). After his Secondary Education,he worked briefly with Abayomi Giwa and Associate from 1993-1995. In 1995,he join Abrola School of Printing (Affiliated to UAC)where he bagged Certificate in Diploma in the year 2000. He also attended Nasirudeen Al-Adabiyyah Al-Kamaliyyah Arabic School,Tokosi Street,Orile Iganmu,Lagos State,he then moved further in search of more knowledge to Ibadullah Arabic Schools,Alafia Street,Mosafejo Amukoko where he graduated with Thanawiyyah Certificate in the year 2014. He was a bonafide member of Muslim Students Society of Nigeria (MSSN).He was the Pioneer Ameer of Nasirullahi-l-Fatih Society of Nigeria(NASFAT),Iganmu,Coker,Aguda Branch.He also served as Head of Dawah(HOD),Public Relation Officer(PRO) before he was appointed Missioner of the Branch. During his time at NASFAT,he attended series of Leadership Trainings,Conferences,Seminars,Workshops,Youth Camps and Train the Trainer Courses (TTC). He was appointed the acting Imam of Orile Iganmu Central Mosque by the Mosque Management Board in July 2015,acting on behalf of the late Chief Imam,Abd'Rasheed Olaoye Adedotun who returned to his Creator on October 2nd,2022. He is the President,Unity of Imams and Alfas,Orile Iganmu Chapter,he is also the 1st Vice Chairman,Council of Chief Imams and Alfas,Surulere,Orile,Coker,Aguda,Itire,Ikate and Ijeshatedo and an active member of Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC),Surulere and other relevant bodies. Imam Hamod-Tijani Babatunde Faari is happily married and blessed with children. May the Almighty Allah make his reign on the throne peaceful,fruitful and prosperous.May Allah elongate his life,give him sound health and wealth and my HE also guide and direct his affairs.
