They started playing music in Nigeria before they seek for greener pastures in USA and today they are making serious waves and impact in the music world in their recent place of abode.
I'm talking about five male Nigerian born singers who are doing very well in US.
Let me examine them one by one.
Yinka Rtyhms: If you are talking about Nigerian born acts who are doing well in their chosen career, this handsome and highly educated dude is one of them.
His father, late Rasheed Adio popularly known as Second Barrister lAgerige was a gifted and veteran fuji act. Yinka started as an instrumentalist and he has played for many notable singers.
The philanthropist singer who is also a medical doctor stepped in to his dad's shoes after the later joined his forefathers, since then, he has became an household name in music industry.
Yinka, who also known Mr. Somebody has many albums to his credit and is a multiple awards winning act. The fair in complexion act is a chieftaincy holder.
Sanmi Michael: This is another Nigerian born singer doing greatly in US. Just like Yinka, Sanmi who is also known as Akile Tungba started as an instrumentalist, he has played with many big names before he started his band over two decades ago.
Sanmi is a multiple talents singer and award winning act too. The handsome dude just got an endorsement deal from an home based company. The dude is releasing another album this December.
Arabian Jerry: No doubt about it, Prince Arabian Jerry is a strong force to recon with when it comes to music.
The Arabian look alike singer has made a lot of impact in Nigeria before he relocated to US. He was a founding member of Association of juju musicians of Nigeria. Arabian is a multiple awards winning act too with about ten albums to his credit.
King Rokan Adekola: The Iboroba Akoko born singer is one of the Nigerian born singers making remarkable impact in US. Due to his immense contribution to music he was honoured as Oluaye of Georgia.
King Rokan has released many good albums and still waxing stronger among his peers.
Seriki Adewale Akanji Barryshowkey: Adewale Akanji is of the children of late fuji creator, Late Doctor Sikiru Ayinde Barrister.
Barryshowkey started playing music at very tender age. He started with his daddy before he started his band many years ago.
Barryshowkey has carved a niche for himself before he departed to US some years back. He has released many albums and still doing well in the industry.
