It’s all set for the 5th edition of the annual Nigeria Impact Awards, NIA, as partners, nominees, sponsors as well as expectant guests look forward to the 27th of November, 2016 as all road leads to Ikeja, Lagos.
Just as the coordinator, Emeka Nwaneri said during a chat with some journalists in Lagos over the, the award event is set to ‘shake Lagos’.
Former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole is expected as the special guest speaker to discuss the theme lecture, ‘EXECUTIVE-LEGISLATIVE MUTUAL RELATIONS; panacea for Nation development’.
On the other hand, the executive governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode is the chief host and Speaker of the House of Representatives’ Rt. Hon Yakubu Dogara is the special guest of honour.
Expected for the award ceremony is Sokoto State governor, Mallam Tambuwal, Enugu governor, Mr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, Speaker of Katsina House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. and 6 members of the National Assembly.
Also expected for the awards is Chief Mrs Sade Okoya, Princess Toyin Kolade, Ogun State Head of Service, Elder Sola Adeyemi and many brands, entertainers and society bigwigs.
The host the award night is famous comedian, MC Ajele and sultry Nolyywood actress, Doris Simeon.
According to information on the invitation cards, the award event holds at R&A City Hotels, Allen Avenue, Ikeja Lagos and the red carpet & cocktail party starts by 2pm.
